Our Philosophy
I custom design each photo session around you—your needs, your desires, to create for you a dramatic memory from this time in your life. It may be your wedding day, or your senior portraits or exciting stop-action sports memories or families togetherness you're wanting to capture. I want to help make it happen, with a touch of humor and lots of patience. I am not a department store studio and there are no cookie cutter photos here.
As an artist, I strive to capture the essence, the spirit of each subject I photograph. If it's a child, it may be their innocence or curiosity, if it's a family, it isn't only their unity as a group but how they relate to one another. Every photograph is a piece of history. To be able to wrap your mind or heart around that time in history, I love to create sequence shots (many show movement) and frame them together to get that feeling of completeness. I do this with young children playing, families smooching and tickling their young kids, by creating a wedding day storybook, stop-action sports shots of all ages, and for senior portraits I'm able to combine fashion and action sports shots with traditional posses to create a well rounded memory package.
